The estate, Podere Il Cocco, is a historic farmstead dating back to the 14th century, though it has been under the stewardship of the Bindi family since the late 1700s. Originally a traditional polycultural farm, the property shifted its focus toward viticulture while maintaining deep roots in local agriculture. In 2000, Giacomo Bindi took over management and transitioned the entire production to organic and biodynamic practices, aiming to preserve the land's natural biodiversity. Today, the family continues to produce limited-quantity, artisanal wines that emphasize minimal cellar intervention and a deep respect for the centuries-old heritage of the Montalcino region.
