Pure fruit is prominent in this clean and earthy Saint-Émilion. Garnet in colour, with black cherry on the nose and dried fruit, vanilla and light spice on the palate. Immediately after opening the tannins are quite firm, so leaving a few hours for the wine to breathe is beneficial. Tasting the wine every hour or so after opening allows you to taste the evolution. Well-structured and evenly balanced.

Over the last few years, we have witnessed a small revolution among the vignerons in this historic region. Rising from the ashes of over-oaked, over-marketed, and often uninspiring wines, we find a group of thoughtful and talented individuals who are determined to bring terroir to a region that has almost entirely obliterated this ideal over the last few decades.
